The following page outlines the policies relating to purchasing products that are not brand new from Home Tech Solution.
Please review all conditions carefully prior to purchasing a product categorized under the following descriptions.
OPEN BOX PRODUCTS
So, what is an open box product anyways?
An open box product is an item who's original packaging has been opened and may have been resealed. The product does not come defective and has not been used or damaged in any way. All open box products contain original accessories.
These products may have been returned to us unused or arrived with damaged packing from the manufacturer.
All open box products are inspected and tested by Home Tech Solution before being shipped out.
We reserve the right to send a different firmware version than the currently listed item subject to lasting quantity. Please contact us to confirm the required version of the firmware prior to placing your order.
Returning open box items:
We do not accept returns or provide refunds for the original or discounted purchase price for open box products.
All open box products are subject to a 1 year limited warranty. This covers the replacement of defective items within 1 year of purchase, replaced by the same item in the same condition. In case of the receipt of a defective open box product, the item will be replaced with another product in open box condition. This limited warranty does not cover any cosmetic defects the packaging may have, as outlined in the description of the condition.
To initiate an exchange of an open box product, please follow the instructions as outline in our return policy.
Shipping open box items for exchange:
Shipping costs for all returned items must be covered by the customer, as per our standard return policy.
USED PRODUCTS
Because sometimes we change our minds.
All used products may show signs of wear and tear but remain in good working condition. The item may be marked or show other signs of minor cosmetic damage like dents and scratches. It may arrive with damaged packaging or be repackaged by Home Tech Solution. There may be missing parts, accessories, instruction manuals or assembly tools.
All of our used products are inspected and tested by Home Tech Solution prior to shipment to ensure full technical functionality.

Returning used items:

All used products are subject to a 3 month limited warranty. This covers the replacement of used items within 3 months of purchase, replaced by the same item in the same condition. In case of the receipt of a functionally defective used product, the item will be replaced with another product in used condition. This limited warranty does not cover any cosmetic defects the product or packaging may have, as outlined in the description of the condition.
